Yes, logically a character who is invincible like Superman shouldn't be affected by an Affliction modeled by a taser or a syringe this wouldn't be modeled by Immunity, however, but rather by a huge Fortitude bonus (which Superman has) compared to the tiny Effect rank of a taser/syringe Affliction (Rank 1-2 max).Р”Р„nd yes, invincibility is a superhero staple but for the sake of playing a game in a way that isn't broken, Immunity is best left to environmental things like heat, pressure, needing to breathe, etc., or very specialized descriptors (Immunity to Mental Effects, say), but not game mechanics like Damage. Superman is near invincible, not because he has Immunity: Damage, but because he's PL15 and built with 270+ PP, and has all of his defenses bought up to, well, Superman levels. If it DOES include even those, then that doesn't strike me as much of a Limit (which has to halve effectiveness, at least). and then that would no longer include Mental Blast style Damage Effects that target Will. If you suddenly say that your Limited to Damage also includes stuff like that taser or syringe, thats more like Limited to Physical. You get what you pay for Damage is its own Effect (I'm using capitalizations here for the specific reason that these are game terms), so Limiting your Immunities to Damage means it only applies to Damage Affliction, regardless of descriptor, is not Damage no matter how you look at it.
